Some are enjoying kulfi and some are drinking glasses of curd lassi. There is also a shop in Firozabad where milk is brought from the village, curd is prepared from it and lassi is prepared, in which no adulteration is done. At the same time, a large crowd of people is seen in the evening to drink it. People start feeling coolness in a glass of curd lassi.
While giving information, shopkeeper Durgesh Kumar, who runs a shop of Shridauji Lassi in Firozabad, said that the crowd of people is not seen at his place just like that. Their curd lassi has a different taste. People come back again after drinking it. Durgesh told that he brings pure milk from the village, which is frozen and then after curd is formed in the morning, lassi is made from it.
400 to 500 glasses are sold daily
To make it, curd is put in a pot, then sugar is added to it, it is whipped and then ice is added to it. After this, the lassi is served in an earthen glass which doubles the taste of the lassi. Along with this, curd cream is poured into the glass and Rooh Abja is mixed. After drinking which people feel coolness. The shopkeeper told that every day 400 to 500 people come to his shop to drink curd lassi.
The price of one glass is Rs 50
The shopkeeper told that the glass available at his shop is a big glass in which 250ml lassi is given and the price of one glass is Rs 50. Since the glass of Lassi is big, its price has been kept at Rs 50, but the taste of Lassi given to people in an earthen glass is different, hence whoever comes to Firozabad definitely drinks their Lassi.
